My Sweet Williamsburg

Dear Williamsburg, I met you exactly one week ago. Yes already ! Last week-end I arrived in New York in this new neighbourhood where I will be living during the next three month. And Williamsburg, I can already tell you after this week that I am in love with you, your small shops, your cafes, your markets, your parks and your whole mood.

Obviously after just a week, I cannot pretend knowing each of your streets, best places, and hidden paradises, however I already want to share with everyone my first “coups de coeur”.

First let me introduce you Serita Coffee where I stopped for a delicious Matcha Tea to perfectly start my adventurous day. Situated on Roebling street, this cafe is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and pastry before starting your day in Williamsburg.

After this kick of energy, it is now time for some serious shopping discovery. A few streets further, a sign in a window caught my eyes…it was the Package Free shop ! A Zero Wast pop up shop that will surprise you with an infinite number of sustainable products from the simple t-shirt to the glamorous lipgloss. Ca vaut le détour!

Then, speaking about lipgloss and beauty, Williamsburg offers plenty of cute jewellery and cosmetics shops for every taste. Amongst them, Spacenk will give you plenty of choices from the green lipstick to the haut de gamme face cream, your eyes will not know what to look at in the beautiful Norbu Bijoux shop offering many elegant necklaces, bracelets and rings, each having a specific meaning, and Soap Chérie will bring colour into your life with unicorn and cupcake soaps that you will definitely need for your next bad mood day.

Last but not least…some teddy bears head replacing mannequin faces in a window attracted me into Pinkyotto, a very cute clothes shops selling unique vintage-inspired pieces. Every girl will definitely find THE perfect little skirt, top, dress, or  short that she needs to complete here already full wardrobe.

As I already said, those places are absolutely not the only great spots that Williamsburg streets have to offer and I am looking forward to writing about many others during my stay here. So don’t worry I will for sure write a lot of other coffee places, bars, restaurants, and of course vintage and designer clothes shops located in my Sweet Williamsburg.

      Hi Clélie 🙂

I am here in Brooklyn only for a while and then will come back to Switzerland! But I don’t want to leave New York. I am already in love with this city!
